Dr Kazem Nassar is a consultant plastic and reconstructive surgeon with over ten years of experience and is on the GMC Specialist Register. His NHS practice is primarily based at St John's and the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh, where he specialises in treating melanoma, other skin cancers, breast surgery and reconstructive surgery following major cancer operations.

Kazem graduated from the University of Edinburgh and completed his junior doctor training at the Ministry of Defence Hospital Unit in Portsmouth while serving as an RAF medical officer. His RAF service took him across the UK and abroad before he began his plastic surgery training in Scotland.
Throughout his career, Kazem has trained in various units across Scotland, gaining extensive experience in a wide array of procedures. He has published numerous papers in plastic surgery journals and has won prizes for his work presented at conferences. He spent time at the world-renowned Melanoma Institute of Australia in Sydney, gaining valuable insights into managing complex melanoma and skin cancer cases.
